Lazy Dog Friends

Hello, I’m Dawn – founder, creator, and the hands behind the Lazy Dog Company. 

This little business began thanks to one very cheeky lockdown puppy named Toby… affectionately known as Velcro man in our home. Every possible smell, bit of mud, and crumb seems magnetically drawn to him no matter how often I wash things. 
    Like most dog owners, I tried every blanket and throw under the sun, but even after washing, they seemed to hold onto every smell and adventure Toby had brought home. Not to mention the endless pieces of bone that remained embedded in the fabric! Knowing that he preferred the comfort of my duvet, I sought to buy him his own. But after endless searching, I couldn’t find the right fit or feel anywhere, so I made one myself. Toby adored it instantly. Then friends began to ask me to make one for their dogs… and then their friends… and their friends… and before long, I was sewing duvets in every size, and so the Lazy Dog Company was born.
